Tennis Weekly Drills

You may only sign up for one drill at a time. On the day you come in to attend your drill you may sign up for your next drill. Names signed up more than once will be removed without notification.

Advanced-Beginner Drill: Saturdays, 8-9 am
Requirements: Players should be capable of rallying a moderately paced ball, although directional intent may be lacking. A majority of drill feeds should be put in play.  Players should be able to get a majority of their serves in. A true advanced beginner can keep feeds of slow to medium paced balls in play more often than they miss. The NTRP Level is 2.0-2.5.  This drill is not for the new beginner.  This drill is limited to one court and a maximum of six participants.

Advanced Drill: Saturdays, 9-10:30 AM
Requirements: Players should be capable of rallying at a significantly faster pace than the intermediate player. Weak shots by opponents should easily be taken advantage of by these players. These players should not have a major stoke deficiency such as a weak slice backhand.  Serving should have offensive capabilities on first serves and reliability on second serves. These players will have extensive match play history.  The NTRP Level is 4.0+. This drill is limited to one court and a maximum of six participants. To sign up for this drill you must have approval from Tennis Department. Any names signed up who haven’t been approved, will be removed.

Intermediate Drill: Saturdays, 10:30-12 PM.
Requirements: Players should be capable of rallying moderately paced balls with directional intent. Players should be able to get the vast majority of drill feeds in. Easy shots should be hit offensively with few errors.  Players should have the ability to hit an offensive first serve with few double faults. The intermediate player will have significant match play experience. The NTRP Level is 3.0-3.5. This drill is limited to three courts and a maximum of 18.
